Qualification for derby award.

1. Big Sky members must own dogs and be in good standing.

2. Dogs under the age of 2 ½ will qualify. Once dog reaches 30 months its runs will stop counting. All points accumulated prior will still count.

3. Points are awarded for 1^st 2^nd and 3^rd . 3 points for 1^st 2 points for 2^nd and 1 point for 3^rd.

4. Bonus points will be awarded for NSTRA placements, one point for each placement.

5. A dog must have a minimum of 10 runs to qualify.

6. Total points will be divided by times ran to give percentage. The dog with highest percent wins.

7. Points will be counted from trials ran in region from January 1 2003 to August 24, 2003. Award will be presented at the last fall trial of the season.

8. The award will be a Silversmiths belt buckle.
